FM-08: The Blade Cannot Be Removed, Installed, Or Clamped

The blade lock will not engage, the clamping screw will not loosen or tighten, or the blade and washers cannot be assembled securely.

• Blade lock is not aligned with the spindle
• Wrong direction used on the right-hand screw
• Sawdust packed around clamp washer or spindle
• Spindle lock or threads are damaged internally

1. The correct blade and washers clamp securely with the supplied wrench.

1. Remove the battery before touching any blade hardware.
2. Press the blade lock while turning the spindle by hand until the lock engages.
3. - Turn the screw counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten - clean clamp surfaces dry.
4. If the lock, threads, screw, or washers will not secure the blade, stop and seek service.
