- Charging or use occurred in a hot environment with poor ventilation
- Dirty or resistive contacts are generating heat
- The pack has an internal cell, conductor, or protection defect
- The charger or tool is driving an abnormal condition
Quick Checks
- The corrected system remains only normally warm under a light test, or the suspect pack is removed from service before an active event develops.
