A verified straight, correctly clamped blade turns, but the saw produces destructive mechanical noise or strong vibration at no load or during a light cut.

1. The repaired saw hand-turns smoothly and runs at no load and through a light cut without grinding, scraping, knocking, abnormal play, or heavy vibration.

1. Release the trigger, wait for a complete stop, remove the battery, and do not keep running the saw to identify a destructive sound.
