FM-15: Pad binds after pad-assembly service

After the published pad or belt procedure, the battery-removed pad binds when rotated by hand.

• Belt is misrouted or twisted
• Shoulder screw or bearing retainer is displaced
• Dust skirt is trapped
• Pad screws are uneven or overtightened

1. The reassembled pad turns smoothly by hand without scraping.

1. Remove the battery and rotate the pad by hand immediately after reassembly.
2. Remove the four screws and pad, then verify belt routing around the shoulder screw and retainer.
3. - Free the dust skirt and reseat the pad flat
4. - Rotate by hand again
