FM-34: Material removal remains slow at high speed

At a high dial setting, a fresh suitable disc removes material much more slowly than expected without repeated cutout.

• Grit is too fine or disc is loaded
• Pressure is excessive and slows the random orbit
• Battery output is weak
• Belt, motor, or drive output is reduced

1. A fresh suitable disc removes material normally with light pressure.

1. Remove the battery and verify a fresh abrasive with grit suitable for the material.
2. Clear dust, fit a known-good charged battery, and select the high-speed range.
3. - Use light pressure and long strokes on clean scrap
4. If removal remains slow, route speed response, light-load collapse, or drive service.
