Dust bag collar will not lock onto the dust port

The bag collar fits over the port but will not turn clockwise into a retained locked position.

• Collar and port lugs are misaligned
• Dust is packed in the locking interface
• Collar or lugs are cracked or worn
• Wrong bag or connector is being used

1. The collar turns into lock and resists a gentle pull.

1. Remove the battery and align the correct collar squarely with the dust port.
2. - Dry-clean the collar grooves and port locking lugs
3. Seat fully, then turn clockwise while supporting the tool.
4. - Pull-check the lock
