Pad speed does not change across the dial range

The pad runs at essentially the same no-load speed at both ends of a freely moving dial.

• Dial is not reaching its endpoints
• Dial signal or electronic control has failed
• Motor feedback is not responding
• Battery output is unstable

1. Pad speed clearly increases from the lowest to the highest setting.

1. With the disc removed, select the lowest dial setting and run the tool briefly at no load.
2. Set O, move the dial to the highest setting, then run the same brief no-load test.
3. Repeat with a known-good charged battery and compare the audible and visible speed change.
4. If there is still no clear change, remove the pack and use authorized service.
