AirLock vacuum hose will not lock securely

A compatible AirLock-style hose connector will not retain on the dust port.

• Connector is incompatible or misaligned
• Locking lugs are dirty or worn
• Hose weight is side-loading the joint
• Port or connector is cracked

1. The compatible connector locks and remains attached under normal hose support.

1. Remove the battery and inspect the hose connector and port lugs for compatibility and damage.
2. Dry-clean both locking surfaces and support the hose so it does not pull sideways.
3. Seat the connector squarely and operate its lock exactly as designed.
