The motor can be heard, but the front output remains still in both directions with the bit removed.
The motor runs normally, but the LED is dead, dim, or intermittent with trigger use.
The bit passed initial insertion, but backs out, falls free, or loses drive while the chuck body stays secure.
The trigger returns normally and power drops, but the anvil repeatedly coasts instead of stopping promptly.
BATTERY WILL NOT CHARGE
The running saw jumps, vibrates against the work, snags, or kicks backward or sideways.
BATTERY WILL NOT SEAT, LATCH, OR RELEASE
The collar pulls, but the bit will not come out, or a short/broken piece is recessed in the chuck.
The direction button jams, will not hold center lock, or the tool runs in only one direction.
The trigger lights the work area, but the motor stays silent and the quick-release chuck does not turn.
A straight bit traces a visible circle at no load instead of rotating on a stable centerline.
WORKLIGHT COMES ON, BUT THE MOTOR WILL NOT START
After a normal full charge, the battery loses a large amount of indicated charge or usable low-load runtime while stored by itself in a cool, dry place.
THE BATTERY WILL NOT SEAT, LATCH, RELEASE, OR STAY SECURE
The direction lever will not reach forward, reverse, or center lock, or the selected position does not hold.
The tool, pack, or charger becomes unusually hot, or protection repeatedly stops operation.
A secure straight bit and clear work do not eliminate harsh no-load sound or vibration.
The chuck sleeve will not turn enough to move the jaws or admit a normal straight bit.
The trigger binds, fails to return, starts unpredictably, or no-load speed surges.
The pack will not charge, or the charger light stays off or shows an abnormal red pattern.
