Symptoms

No-load is normal, but the bit, socket, or fastener binds, slips, or twists the tool.
The drill runs steadily but drills slowly or cannot drive a normal fastener with correct setup.
The battery will not slide fully into the handle, stay retained, or release normally.
Tool rotates, but a seated fastener gets little torque or no normal impact pulse.
A straight bit stays clamped but rotates off-center, or the chuck body has visible play.
The bit rotates, but no impact pulses begin when a correct fastener provides normal resistance.
The bit passed initial insertion, but backs out, falls free, or loses drive while the chuck body stays secure.
The direction lever will not reach forward, reverse, or center lock, or the selected position does not hold.
The motor can be heard, but the front output remains still in both directions with the bit removed.
The torque collar binds, will not stay on a setting, or the clutch slips or locks at every position.
The motor runs normally, but the LED is dead, dim, or intermittent with trigger use.
The drill stalls, binds, shuts down, or has low power
The trigger returns normally and power drops, but the anvil repeatedly coasts instead of stopping promptly.
The bit jams, the motor stalls, or the drill twists sharply in the hands during work.
The forward/reverse button sticks, commands the wrong rotation, or center does not lock the trigger.
The trigger binds or does not spring fully OFF, or the motor keeps running after the trigger is released.
