FM-01: No response when the switch is set to I

With a battery installed and the switch at I, the sander gives no motor sound and the pad does not move.

• Main battery is discharged, damaged, or not latched
• Battery or tool contacts are dirty or damaged
• Switch is not fully at I
• Switch, control, terminal, or motor fault

1. The sander starts steadily at no load when the switch is set to I.
