FM-05: Battery will not slide fully onto the tool rails

A compatible battery starts onto the handle but stops before the terminals seat and latch engages.

• Debris or damage on tool or pack rails
• Pack is incompatible or wrong platform
• Battery shell or handle rail is distorted
• Terminal opening is obstructed

1. The compatible pack slides fully seated with light straight pressure.

1. Remove the pack and compare both rail paths for debris, burrs, or deformation.
2. - Dry-brush the rails and terminal opening
3. Try one known-good compatible pack, aligned squarely and without force.
4. If it still stops short, retire the damaged pack or route the tool housing to service.
