FM-06: Battery seats but will not latch

The pack reaches the seated position but can be pulled off without pressing the release button.

• Debris in the latch or catch
• Battery catch is worn or broken
• Tool latch is damaged
• Pack or rails are not fully seated

1. The pack remains secured during a firm pull-check.

1. Hold the switch at O, remove the pack, and inspect the catch window without forcing it.
2. - Dry-clean the latch area and rails
3. Install a known-good compatible pack until an audible or tactile latch occurs.
4. - Pull-check without pressing release
