FM-24: Dust bag collar will not release from the dust port

The locked collar will not turn counterclockwise or come off the port.

• Dust has packed into the locking lugs
• Collar is cross-loaded or overtightened
• Plastic is heat-distorted or damaged
• Port mount is moving with the collar

1. The collar unlocks counterclockwise and removes without damage.

1. Remove the battery and hold the tool body while turning the collar counterclockwise.
2. - Relieve hose or bag side load
3. Dry-brush the accessible joint and use steady hand pressure only.
4. If the collar or fixed port deforms or remains seized, use authorized service.
