FM-31: Tool housing has an open crack

A crack or separation opens the enclosure or exposes internal parts, rails, or wiring.

• Drop or impact damage
• Stress crack at a screw boss or rail
• Heat-deformed housing
• Loose port or switch area propagated a crack

1. The cracked tool remains out of service until the enclosure is professionally restored.

1. Remove the battery and stop using the tool.
2. Inspect externally for exposed wiring, moving parts, sharp edges, and rail damage.
3. Do not tape, glue, drill, or open the enclosure.
4. Use authorized service or retire the tool if the safety enclosure cannot be restored.
