Saw cuts out under load
The saw starts normally but stops, pulses, or loses power during a cut, especially when pushed or when the battery is moved.
The saw suddenly lifts, jumps toward the operator, climbs out of the kerf, or walks backward as the blade pinches or twists.
The spindle lock will not engage, the supplied wrench will not turn the bolt, or the blade bolt is seized, stripped, or cross-threaded.
The motor can be heard running, but the blade remains still, starts late, or slips instead of tracking the motor.
Motor runs but blade stays still
Blade wobbles or grinds
The blade runs off-center, touches the guard or shoe, produces unusual vibration, or makes a grinding sound.
The saw completes the cut, but a 0-degree cut is not square, the bevel does not match the scale, or the kerf wanders from the intended angle.
The shoe will not pivot or slide, the depth lever or bevel knob cannot lock, or the setting shifts during handling or cutting.
The blade turns, but the saw feeds poorly, stalls in the kerf, burns the wood, splinters excessively, or overloads during an ordinary cut.
The blade starts during battery insertion, the trigger remains stuck, or releasing the trigger does not de-energize the saw.
The 360-degree dust port is jammed or loose, or a compatible hose/coupler will not stay attached.
The external structure is visibly cracked, loose, crushed, melted, or missing material even if the saw still runs.
The Saw Starts, Then Shuts Off Abruptly Under Load
The bar is bent or cracked, chain links or cutters are broken, or the guide-bar scabbard is split, missing, or will not stay on.
The reservoir contains oil but the chain stays dry, the primer gives no visible result, or the bar oil path remains dry.
WORKLIGHT COMES ON, BUT THE MOTOR WILL NOT START
The trigger does not spring fully outward, or the motor/blade keeps running after the trigger is released.
A charged pack is installed, but the trigger produces no worklight, motor sound, or anvil movement.
